ASSIST Education Launches New American Universities Pathway Program for International Students

ASSIST’s integrated online platform adds a full K-16 solution for its international high school students
to continue their education at an American university

RENO, NV, Nov. 13, 2019 ASSIST Education launched the American Universities Pathway program, for online international students, with guaranteed acceptances to 15 prestigious universities across 10 states in the U.S. ASSIST is an Integrated K-12 Management System chosen by schools worldwide. The American Universities Pathway program is the most recent project now offered to ASSIST Education’s international high school students and international school partners. In an effort to continue offering innovative programming to its clientele and the demand for continuing education solutions after high school, ASSIST collaborated with a community college that provides solutions for international graduates.

Traditional 2+2 programs offered by colleges across the United States allow international students to complete the first two years at a community college, and then transfer those credits to a participating four-year university to complete the second two years. Ultimately, students graduate with a degree from their selected four-year university. The differentiating factor with ASSIST’s program is that the majority of courses for the first two years of college may be taken online, while still at home, and attending ASSIST Education’s high school. ASSIST Education’s high school courses may also be taken for dual credit, further reducing the amount of time it takes students to complete their first two years of college. These college credits earned from home will be transferred to one of the 15 participating American universities upon graduating from the ASSIST College Preparatory High School program. The graduating student will receive an acceptance letter at that time from the destination university up to two years before relocating.

“We are extremely excited for our online high school students about the new American Universities Pathway program, which ASSIST developed in response to continued inquiries from our international school partners,” said Michael Spencer, ASSIST Education CEO. “The recently introduced program to countrywide school operators in Brazil, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East has received tremendous responses.”

The benefits of the American Universities Pathway program are larger than just reduced spending. Not only do students save money in housing, and international college fees, but also enjoy reduced anxiety with the international college application process. With a guaranteed entrance into a number of American universities, students can focus on their studies knowing that their academic plan is already determined.

The requirements for international students are a pre-qualified English language proficiency and the completion of the College Preparatory Dual Diploma program offered via the ASSIST platform. ASSIST offers embedded English language learning (ELL) and a fully accredited U.S. high school diploma program. ASSIST Education also cooperates with qualified international schools and school distributors to offer a U.S. Dual Diploma once students obtain the required English proficiency.
